Der Mond und das Mädchen – The Moon and the Maiden
Hanser

The newly-weds Hans and Ina move to Frankfurt. Their happiness seems perfect, but Hans has made a mistake in choosing their new flat. The late-19th century house is behind the main station and in its courtyard, the fateful group surrounding the Moroccan caretaker meets up every night under the big summer moon. Immediately after their wedding, the regulated life of the young couple is confronted in their building in Frankfurt’s station district with the multicultural disorder of the present day. An ambiguous love story full of shallows and with an uncertain end.
