German Book Prize: the Shortlist in English

German Book Prize: the Shortlist in English

The German Book Prize is increasingly popular all over the world. In order to make the nominated publications more accessible to an international readership, the German Book Prize partnered up with “New Books in German”.

On their website, “New Books in German” publishes short English excerpts from the nominated books. A profile of the author and a summary of the novel are also part of each dossier.

The biannual magazine “New Books in German” is an independent literary platform with the aim of assisting American, British and international publishers with their choice of outstanding publications from the thousands of German titles that are published every year.

The English texts and dossiers are available at www.new-books-in-german.com.
